Bapudham Milk Producer Company (MPC) has been operationalized on 2nd October 2017 with an objective of providing market for selling milk round the year with a competitive price to rural milk producers and enhancing the milk supply and quality.
Bapudham MPC has established institutional structures that are designed keeping at the helm the benefit to Milk Producers at large which supports to strengthen their business, enhances productivity, assures quality and facilitates to use of information for commercial decision making.
With an organized and structured setup, each rural milk producer associated with Bapudham MPC is and will enjoy the right to get his/her milk tested through appropriate testing and weighing equipment that is accurate and would be paid either through a group’s bank account (operated by authorized nominees) or, in the alternative, enjoy the option of obtaining payment directly to his/her individual account.
Bapudham MPC is also taking up strong initiatives of converting existing Milk Farmers into Members who will also be the shareholder. Also conducting various village level meeting to make the pourers understand long-term benefits of Membership. Since its inception Bapudham MPC has more than 61,604 Members (38,151 Female Members & 23,453 Male Members). Currently, about more than 80,000 liters of milk is procured from 1250 Milk Pooling Points connected to 36 BMCs.
Bapudham Milk Producer Company will procure quality milk from all its members at a competitive price and will provide technical services to increase milk production and reduce expenditure and determined to increase their profits earned from the milk business.
